"An error occurred while trying to add the report to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Try adding the report again. If this problem persists, contact your system administrator."
While importing a managed solution that contains a report, you may encounter an error related to reports if your CRM reporting server does not have the SRS Data Connector (also called the SRS Reporting Extensions) installed. In the Import Log you will find the above error message.
For CRM 2011/2013/2015
Install the SRS Data Connector/SRS Reporting Extensions on the SQL Reporting Server. This installation is included in the CRM installation files. (If you encounter this error in CRM Online, you will need to open a support ticket with Microsoft. It is very rare, but it can indicate a problem with the reporting server that your CRM Online instance uses.)
For CRM 4.0

If you see this error when you are trying to install ClickDimensions or your Click Report for CRM 4.0:
This probably means you are using SQL Server 2005 and that you need this file instead.
