Upon choosing to add an HTML block in a Block Editor template, you will be presented with the following interface to add content to the block.
It is currently not possible to create new Email Sends/Templates using this editor, and as part of our continuing plans to deprecate the Block editor, cloning Email Sends/Templates using the Block Editor while on version 12.1+ will automatically update their editor type to the Freestyle editor.
From version 12.2, this will be released to and applied automatically to all versions as we move to fully deprecate the old editors.

You will see the screen below if you choose the HTML layout in the Block Editor. The buttons in this window are described below.
Top Menu
Spell Check: After inserting the content of the email, use the spell check to make sure the spelling is correct.
Social Sharing: Opens the dialog to insert social sharing icons for the recipients to share on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+. Learn more here.
Profiles: Opens a list of previously created Forms. This is a link that will have the fields prepopulated with the Lead/Contact's information from CRM and is meant to update their Record. Please click here to learn how to set this up.
Landing Pages: Opens a list of previously created Landing Pages so that you can insert the link to those pages. Click here for more on creating Landing Pages.
Surveys: Opens a list of previously created Surveys so that you can insert the link to those surveys. Click here for more on creating Surveys.
Subscription: Opens a list of previously created Subscription Management Pages so that you can insert the link to Subscription Preferences. Click here for more on creating Subscription Lists.
Images List: Shows a list of all of the images you have uploaded to the Image Manager.
Image Manager: Click here to insert images into your template. Learn more here.
Image Map Editor: Select an image an press this button to select an area of the image to hyperlink. Learn more here.
Layout Manager: Upload and use previously uploaded layouts to place into your blocks. The layout Manager is described here.
Insert Table: Select this to inert a table with the number of cells you choose. You can also open the Table Wizard here.
Insert Symbol: Click to insert a symbol.
Hyperlink Manager: Select an image or highlight text and press this button to hyperlink it. To see how this is done click here.
Remove Link: Select an image or text that is hyperlinked and press this button to unlink it.
Module Manager: Contains 4 different modules you can view that will pop up at the bottom of the screen below the View Tabs if you choose to view them.
Statistics: Shows the number of words and characters in the bottom right.
Tag Inspector: Shows the hierarchy of the tags of where your cursor is. If you hover over a tag it will highlight what is in that tag in the Design View. There is also the option to remove the last element.
Properties Inspector: Allows you to insert and edit the properties of what you have selected.
Real-Time HTML View: Shows the HTML of the template.
Paste as Plain Text: Use this when pasting text into the editor to avoid any hidden HTML that may cause weird spacing and such.
Horizontal Rule: Adds a line where you cursor is placed.
Insert Code Snippets: Insert the links for viewers to see the email in a browser window and for them to be able to unsubscribe. To see how to use the snippets click here.
Insert Date: Inserts the current date in this format: 1/18/2017.
Dynamic Personalization Menus: These drop down menus allow you to place any field in a sender, lead, contact, or account record dynamically into an email. To learn more about Dynamic Content click here.
Bottom Menu
Design Tab: This is our WYSIWYG editor. You are able to edit the design without having to code HTML
HTML Tab: Shows the HTML behind the design. In this view you can edit the HTML or paste HTML code.
Preview Tab: This view shows what the email will look like in the browser/email client.
Top Menu
