In the Block Editor, you can remove, add, change the size, edit, and change the content of blocks. These actions are managed through the right-click menu.
It is currently not possible to create new Email Sends/Templates using this editor, and as part of our continuing plans to deprecate the Block editor, cloning Email Sends/Templates using the Block Editor while on version 12.1+ will automatically update their editor type to the Freestyle editor.
From version 12.2, this will be released to and applied automatically to all versions as we move to fully deprecate the old editors.
Goals
- Learn how to manipulate individual blocks in a Block Editor template using the right-click menu.
- Dynamics 365
The Right-Click Menu
To access the menu, right-click on the block you’d like to edit. This is the menu that will appear if you click on a block that already contains content:
Remove block
Deletes the block you right clicked along with any material currently in the block.
Insert block
Insert a new block to the right, left, below, or to the top of the block you right clicked. If you place the block to the left or right, it will divide the currently selected block in half to make room. And if you place it below or to the top it will create a block that spans the whole width.
Block width
Change the width of your block. This will make the other blocks to the left and/or right change size as well.
Edit
Change the content of the block. To learn more about editing block click here.
Clear Content
Deletes everything in the block.
Border Style
Add borders to the block.
Background Color
Change the background color of the block.
You can either choose from a preset color from our themes or switch to the RGB Sliders tab to add a custom color or generate a new color.
If you are using the Block Editor to create your Landing Page, you'll also have the option to add a Background Image for this particular block.
Resize Image
If there is an image in the block you select, this will be an option. This allows you to change the width, while the height remains proportional to the width.
