Facebook is one of several social platforms that can be integrated with the ClickDimensions Social Marketing feature powered by Oktopost. You may include Facebook Pages and Facebook Groups and set up these integrations via connectors. Connecting to these social profiles will allow you to create, schedule, and publish social posts from within your Dynamics environment, as well as track the interactions people have with these posts. NOTE: In order to use Social Connectors, it is required to have a CNAME set up for Social Marketing. Click here for instructions on how to set this up.
NOTE: The basic ClickDimensions solution includes support for up to 5 social profiles. If you are interested in increasing the number of available social profiles, you can contact your ClickDimensions Customer Success Manager for information regarding upgrading to the standard or professional social packages.

Navigate to the Facebook Connector
Once your CNAME is set up for Social Marketing, navigate to Settings > ClickDimensions Settings > click Connectors.
A new window will open and show you the current connectors you have set up for this Dynamics environment. Click +ADD to choose a new connector.
A new window will open and show you a menu of current available connectors to set up. Select from the following options for Facebook:
Facebook Page: Connect the Facebook Page of an organization so that posts are created and posted from within Dynamics to the authenticated Facebook Page.
Facebook Group: Connect the Facebook Group so that posts are created and posted from within Dynamics to the Group. All Group members will be able to see the published posts. You must install the Oktopost Facebook Groups App to your Facebook Group in order to post to the Group using the Facebook Connector
Install the Oktopost Facebook Groups App
NOTE: This step is only necessary if you are connecting to a Facebook Group. If you are connecting to a Page, disregard this step and continue to Set Up the Facebook Connector.
Navigate to your Facebook Group and click the ... More button. In the drop down menu, choose Edit Group Settings.
Under Group Settings, scroll down to Apps and click Add Apps.
In the Browse Apps for this Group window, search for Oktopost, select the app, then click Add.
Set Up the Facebook Connector
If this is the first time you are connecting your social pages, then you are prompted to include the first name, last name, and email address of the User who will be controlling these social pages. You may choose only one User for these details.
NOTE: It is recommended that this User is the person leading these social marketing efforts, as we will be sending communications, including re-authentication messages, to this email address. Any messaging sent to this address will be service-related; these emails will not relate to the performance of any live Social Posts.
Once you have entered in the required information and indicated that you have accepted the Terms and Conditions, click Connect.
You will then be prompted to continue through the authentication process while logged into the intended Facebook account. Click Continue as [NAME].
Once this connection is authenticated, you will see a success message. You can then click to learn how to post to Facebook using this connector, click to set up another connector, or close the window.
The connectors window will now show the active Facebook connector with the other connectors set up for your Dynamics environment.
You are now ready to create a social post!
