Regarding bug fix 16960 (If you clone a Form that has an HTML Component, the HTML Components are linked across the original and the clone. Changing one will change the other). We experienced this problem. What happens now with the Forms that had been cloned before the bug fix was implemented? Will they still have the problem?

    Hi Joris,

In ones that you cloned previous to this fix, it will still show up in the editor wrong (same as the other one) but the actual page will show it correctly. It would be best to just re-clone so it will be easier to control and edit in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I am very pleased with the changes ClickDimensions made to contemporary solution packages.  We had some challenges with earlier version updates requiring some housekeeping with the solution file (customization.xml) before we imported, to avoid undesirable changes.  It had been a source of frustration, so thank you for taking note and making changes.  It is very much appreciated.

    Hi Todd,

Thank you for the feedback you've given us over the last year or so! It helped us to prioritize some of the decisions we made in this release!

Bug Fix: If you clone a Form that has an HTML Component, the HTML Components are linked across the original and the clone. Changing one will change the other.

I want to make sure I am understanding this. Is this sentence above saying that the buggy behavior was that if a cloned form had its HTML components edited then those changes were also occuring on the HTML components on the original form that was used to create a clone, and that this behavior was FIXED? So that now, a change made to an HTML element on a cloned form does NOT make the change to the original? Just making sure I am deciphering this properly.

Like Donna mentioned, I'm not clear on which way that change went.

Anyone else having problems with the Preview? The HTML components don't show up anymore!

@Donna, @Billy  -  If you saw this happen with one of your web content records, I would suggest re-cloning it and getting rid of the bad cloned one where this happened. If you cloned one before where this was happening it is still slightly connected to the original because in the designer it will show them with the same content but on the actual page that people will see the will both show the correct content. But to make it much easier I would suggest re-cloning.

@Joris - There seems to be an issue with IE and some of the HTML Components not showing up and we are working on a fix for that with top priority.

Why do some editors use the old image manager and others use the new one and why do we see different files stored in each?!?

    Hi Joe,

Last year we introduced the new Drag & Drop editor, and along with it a new image manager that provides better functionality. This year, we carried the new image manager over into the updated Freestyle editor. Eventually the new image manager will be the only one, and the images will be merged into a single interface.

Thanks for clarifying that Matthew. When do you intend to unify the image manager for all email and web content editors? It's confusing and annoying having to maintain two separate media libraries. Also, is there any chance of making the image manager more easily and directly accessible, e.g. via a navigation bar item in the Settings area, so that if we don't have to go all the way to the design window for an item to get to it? (See this request: http://support.clickdimensions.com/entries/61082304-Access-Image-Manager-directly-and-add-a-few-more-features )

    Hi Joe,

We don't have the timeline nailed down for when the Image Managers will be unified. We have received the request to make the Image Manager accessible outside of the editors and are considering this for a future release, but again, there is no timeline for this currently.
