ADD AN ATTACHMENT TO AN EMAIL
Do you want to include a document, meeting request, or any other attachment in a ClickDimensions Sales Engagement email? See below for the simple steps to do so.
Before we start, the max file size limit is currently 3 MB which is a Microsoft limitation. They are releasing a feature for larger sizes, and we will update once that is generally available.
Step 1: Make sure your Sequence has been saved and then create a Auto Email or Manual Email step.
Step 2: Add some content to the email step and make sure to Save the step before adding your attachment.
Step 3: Click on the attachment button and choose your file.
That’s all that is required. Your email will include that file as a normal email attachment.
Once attached, there are additional options that you can use if you would like.
The options include:
- The cloud icon lets you upload it to the cloud and link to the attachment.
- The pop-out icon downloads the attachment.
- The X icon removes the attachment.
If you choose to upload to the cloud, you will need to put the link in the email somewhere. A link icon will appear after uploading it. Put your cursor in the email to select where you want the link to go and press the link icon and it will insert it. You may also select some existing text to link the text rather than putting the full URL.
