With the Marketing handoff, a sales rep can share leads with marketing that have been qualified but are not ready to buy so marketing can provided additional nurturing.
With the Sales handoff, Marketing can share prospects that have been qualified by marketing and are now ready for direct 1:1 sales outreach.
You can configure the Handoff entity ownership in the App Settings menu in the Configurations menu.
