You have the ability to import templates into the Email Designer, either by uploading an HTML file or by selecting one of your existing Click Email Templates. This gives you the ability to convert Email Templates created in other Click Email Editors into the Email Designer, making it easy to migrate from the HTML Editor, Freestyle Editor, and the legacy New Drag & Drop editors to the Email Designer without the need to manually recreate your existing templates.
To import a template into the Email Designer, open the Email Designer and click the Import HTML button in the toolbar along the top of the Designer:
This will open a window where you can choose to import the template From Device by uploading an HTML file or From CRM Templates by selecting one of your existing Click Email Templates.
Choosing From Device will open a window for you to select the HTML file, while choosing From CRM Templates will open a window allowing you to select an Email Template.
Choose your desired Email Template and click the Import HTML button at the bottom-right of this window to begin importing the selected template into the Email Designer. You will then be presented with a "Replacing Email Layout" window warning you that if you proceed with the import, any existing content in your Email Designer will be replaced with the imported content.
Click the Replace and Import button to confirm and import the template.
