The Preference Center Designer's Page Properties contains several categories of properties that you can edit to customize your Preference Center's design. This article covers the Page Properties in detail.
The Page Properties are located on the right side of the Preference Center Designer while no field is actively selected.
These are the various options available in each Page Properties category:
General
The General section allows you to set the following:
Page Title: A user-friendly title for your Subscription Page.
Page Description: A subtitle for your Subscription Page.
Make the title and description visible: Choose whether the Page Title and Description are visible.
Ready-only: Choose whether the Subscription Page is read-only. This may be desired in scenarios where you are auto-populating values in all the Fields and simply need the respondent to confirm the data by submitting the Subscription Page.
Page Width Mode: Choose from Static (fixed width), Responsive (Subscription Page occupies full width of screen), or Auto (applies Static or Responsive depending on the field types used).
Captcha
The Captcha section allows you to toggle the Subscription Page's CAPTCHA on and off. Our Subscription Pages use Google CAPTCHA, and it is turned on by default. The CAPTCHA will not be shown until the Subscription Page is published, and is not visible in preview mode.
If you plan to embed your Subscription Page as a widget on a website under a domain that is different from the Domain in your Subscription Page's Web Content record, the Google CAPTCHA will allow submissions only if a valid SSL certificate is uploaded for that website's Domain/CNAME. For details on how to upload the necessary SSL certificate, see here.
Logo
The Logo in Form Title section allows you to upload your company's logo for display alongside the Page Title.
You can specify the Logo width and Logo height, and if desired can apply a Logo Fit setting of Contain, Cover, or Fill: Contain resizes your logo to fit within the Title container, Cover resizes the logo to fill the container (may result in cropping), and Fill stretches the image to fill the container.
Navigation
The Navigation section is where you configure properties related to your Subscription Page's submit/complete button and page navigation buttons. The available properties are:
Complete Button Text: Set the text that will display in the Form's submit/complete button.
Navigation buttons alignment: Choose between Top, Bottom, or Top and bottom.
Progress Bar Alignment: Set the visibility and location of the progress bar: Auto (above or below the Form header), Above the Header, Below the Header, Bottom, and Top and Bottom.
When Progress Bar Alignment is enabled, you will also gain access to the Progress bar type property with the following options: Completed Pages, Posted Fields, Answered Required Questions, and Correct Fields. You will also be able to set the Progress bar area width.
Field
The Field section is where you can adjust properties related to Fields. The available properties are:
Field Order: Choose between Original (display the Fields in the same order as in the Designer) or Random.
Field Title Location: Set a Field Title Location for all Fields in the Subscription Page. This setting can be overridden by title alignment rules at lower levels: panel, page or field.
Field Description Location: Choose whether the Field Descriptions will display under the Field Title or under the input field.
Show Field Numbering: Choose between No Numbering, Auto Numbering, Reset on each page, and Recursive Numbering.

The Field Required Symbol(s): Customize the field required symbol(s).

Restrict Posted Field Value Length: Provide a maximum length for values entered into text fields.
Restrict Comment Length: Provide a maximum length for values entered into comment fields.
Comment area height (in lines): Sets the number of displayed lines in text areas for field comments. If the input takes up more lines, the scroll bar appears.
Auto-expand text areas: Enable this property if you want field comments and long text fields to auto-grow in height based on the entered text length.
Allow users to resize text areas: Toggle whether users are able to resize text areas for field comments and long text fields.
Data
The Data section provides options related to clearing and updating field data. The options provided are:
Clear hidden fields values: Choose if and when to clear values for fields hidden by conditional logic.
Update text field value: Choose when to update text field values: On lost focus (value is updated when the input field loses focus) or While typing (value is updated in real-time, as users are typing).
Validation
The Validation section allows you to choose when to run validation on user inputs, and whether to set focus on the first invalid answer, if and when one is found. By default, validation is set to run when switching to the next page, but you can optionally set it to run after an answer is changed, or only when the Subscription Page is completed.
