Content Library (Beta) is available to try in Click for Dynamics UCI. To access the new Content Library please update to the latest solution version 2026.03 and contact support to enable the feature.
The Content Library provides a centralized hub for managing digital assets across the Click platform. Users and teams can upload, organize, and reuse images, videos, documents, and audio from local storage or cloud providers. The Content Library features folder based navigation, an in-built image editor, and support for bulk operations.
This article covers the Content Library in detail.
Accessing and Navigating the Content Library
The Content Library can be accessed by navigating to Library > Assets in Dynamics.
Upon selecting Assets, you will see the Content Library.
If you have used the Image Manager in the past, you will see your Image Manager's contents in the Content Library. The Image Manager and the Content Library's images remain in sync with each other, and adding an image to one will automatically add it to the other.
The Content Library contains a collapsible folder-navigation panel on its left side. You can navigate your Content Library by clicking on the desired folder or subfolder. The selected folder's contents will be shown as either a grid or a list, depending on what is selected. Your accounts total remaining and available storage is displayed above the view area:
Grid View:
List View:
A folder's subfolders can be hidden or expanded within the folder-navigation panel, and clicking the Home button at the top of the panel will return you to the top-level Home folder. Hovering over a folder causes "..." to appear beside the folder name; click "..." to access the options to rename, download, or delete the folder.
The top-left section of the Content Library contains breadcrumbs showing which folder you are currently viewing, a total file count, refresh and feedback buttons, as well as search, sort, and filter tools.
Clicking on a breadcrumb will navigate you to the selected folder, and the refresh button will reload the contents of the current folder (this is useful when working in multiple tabs or browser windows, or if you do not see you image immediately after uploading).
The total file count reflects the total number of files in your Content Library.
The feedback button allows you to give our team feedback on the Content Library.
Use the search bar to search for items and folders. Search results will include items in the folder you are currently viewing as well as items contained in that folder's subfolders, sub-subfolders, etc. If you need to search the entire Content Library, make sure you are searching from the Home folder.
Use the sort tool to sort the visible items by file name, size, last updated, or file type.
Use the filter tool to filter the visible items by type: audio, document, folder, image, video.
The Content Library can also be accessed from within the Email Designer, Form Designer, Online Surveys Designer, Preference Center Designer, and Landing Page Drag & Drop Editor.
Managing Items in the Content Library
Creating Folders
At the top right of the Content Library, you will see New Folder, Upload, and Delete buttons.
Click the New Folder button to create a new folder. The folder will be created at the level you currently have selected: if you are in the Home folder, it will create a new folder in Home; if you are inside a folder, it will create a subfolder within the currently selected folder. You and you users can create the folder structure needed for your use cases.
Uploading, Moving, Downloading, and Deleting Items
Click the Upload button to upload new files to the Content Library. The Content Library supports images, documents, audio, and video files. For details about the specific file types supported by the Content Library, see here.
You can upload files from your device, from a link, or from one of the supported services: Google Drive, Facebook, Dropbox, Google Photos, and OneDrive.
When you first select one of the supported services you will be asked to log into your account with that service. Once you have authenticated your account, you will be able to access supported files stored in your account with the selected service.
When one or more items are selected in the Content Library, the Move, Download, and Delete buttons will be activated.
The Move button allows you to move the selected item(s) to a different folder within the Content Library.
Clicking Download when a single item is selected will download that item to your computer. When you choose to download a folder or multiple selected items, the download will be queued up for processing and a notification will appear in the notifications area at the top-right of the Content Library. Click the notification to view the Download List window, which will show all recent folder and multi-item downloads.
Once your item is ready to download, its "Download" button will be activated and can be clicked to download a zip file containing the folder's contents. Any download that has not yet been processed can be cancelled, and completed downloads will be cleared out after 48 hours.
Click Delete to delete the selected item(s). Upon clicking the Delete button you will be presented with a warning message confirming that deleted items cannot be recovered once deleted; clicking Delete in this window will delete the items.
Viewing Items
Selecting an item will show a preview as well as the items properties on the right side of the Content Library. The item preview also includes Rename, Download, Delete, and (if you've selected an image) Edit Image buttons.
Double-clicking on an item in the Content Library will open a window showing a larger preview and details about the file. The details shown are: file name, dimensions, file size, mime type, date uploaded, and last modified.
If the item you're previewing is an image, you will also see an Edit button at the bottom-right of this window.
Editing Images
When you have selected or are previewing an image in the Content Library, click the Edit or Edit Image button to open the selected image in the Image Editor.
Along the bottom of the Image Editor you can select the desired editing function:
- Tuning: Adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation.
- Crop: Crop the image with a free or fixed aspect ratio.
- Flip: Flip the image horizontally or vertically.
- Rotate: Rotate the image.
