"An error occurred while trying to add the report to Microsoft Dynamics. Try adding the report again. If this problem persists, contact your system administrator."
While importing a managed solution that contains a report, you may encounter an error related to reports if your Dynamics reporting server does not have the SRS Data Connector (also called the SRS Reporting Extensions) installed. In the Import Log you will find the above error message.
Solution:
Install the SRS Data Connector/SRS Reporting Extensions on the SQL Reporting Server. This installation is included in the Dynamics installation files. (If you encounter this error in Dynamics Online, you will need to open a support ticket with Microsoft. It is very rare, but it can indicate a problem with the reporting server that your Dynamics Online instance uses.)
