Blocking third party cookies can cause some usability issues, such as preventing the "Open Editor" button for Email Templates to work. Therefore, in some instances it may be required to allow third party cookies in your default browser to ensure ClickDimensions functions properly. Below is a guide on how to ensure third party cookies are enabled in all browsers supported by ClickDimensions.
Edge:
1. Click the dropdown menu denoted by three dots (...) in the top right corner and select Settings:
2. Select Cookies and Permissions, then select Cookies and Site Data:
3. Ensure that "Block third-party cookies" is disabled
Chrome:
1. Click the dropdown menu denoted by three dots in the top right corner and select Settings:
2. Select Privacy and Security, then select Cookies and other site data:
3. Select Allow all cookies
Note: selecting Block third-party cookies in incognito should also work in this instance unless you are using incognito mode
Firefox:
1. Select the menu denoted by three lines in the top right corner and choose Settings:
2. Select Privacy & Security:
3. Firefox allows for a few viable options. in most cases setting these options as "Standard" should suffice. However, if issues persist, selecting the "Custom" option and disabling the blocks on Cookies and Tracking content can help resolve the problem, should one be present:
Internet Explorer:
1. Select the gear icon in the top right corner and choose Internet options:
2. Navigate to the Privacy tab, then click Advanced:
3. Set First Party Cookies and Third Party Cookies to Accept, then click OK:
Safari (Mac):
1. Select the "Safari" option in the top toolbar and choose Preferences...:
2. Deselect Block all cookies:
Note: it may also be necessary to deselect Prevent cross-site tracking dependent upon the issue encountered, if any. However, in most use cases deselecting Block all cookies should suffice
