Advocate Fields enable you to segment your Advocates using custom fields you can create. With this feature, you can limit which segments (i.e. which specific groups of Advocates based on their fields) have access to which Topics, and therefore limit the content they can see and share. You can also group by 'Advocate Field' in Social BI to report on your various segments.
This can be helpful for many use cases, such as:
- Executive branding
- Office vs office competitions
- Sub-leaderboards for groups of employees
- Comparing champions in different groups
- Checking the success of a new department after its onboarding
To set up your fields, go to the Advocate Fields section within the Settings tab for your Board.
There, you can create up to 5 fields, each with up to 100 options.
