Click Social's Media Library allows you to manage all your digital assets for social media in one place.
NOTE: The Click Social Media Library is for use within Click Social only, and is entirely separate from the Image Manager and Content Library within Click's Marketing Automation solution.
How to Access the Click Social Media Library
You can find the Click Social Media Library in the left sidebar, at the bottom:
With the Media Library you can:
- Upload new files
- Organize assets into folders
- Rename files
- Tag files
- Preview media
- Edit file descriptions
When you upload a file to social media, Click Social automatically saves it to the Media Library, allowing you to search for and reuse it later.
You can also upload new content from other sources such as Giphy, Dropbox,
Google Drive, or other websites.
To configure the sources, you can upload media from:
- Go to My Profile
- Go to Media Tabs
- Check the box next to any source you wish to include for media uploads.
Media Source Preferences (My Profile Settings)
You can customize which external media sources are available when creating content in Click Social.
To manage your media tabs:
- Go to My Profile
- Select Media Tabs
- Check or uncheck the media sources you'd like to enable or disable.
Available sources include:
- Direct Link
- Google Photo
- Flickr
- Dropbox
- Box
- Google Drive
- OneDrive
Note: Local Files and Media Library are always enabled and cannot be disabled.
These settings are user-specific and will only affect your own Click Social account - not your teammates'.
Tags & Search
- Tags: Uploads will automatically be tagged based on their context. For example, cat images will be tagged 'Cat' or 'Cats'.
- Search: Media searches are based on file names, descriptions, and tags (exact match). File names and descriptions are editable after upload. We recommend using semantic names to improve search.
Actions on Selected Media
- Create a post: We support a variety of media types to create a post. If the selected network does not support these media types, we will indicate it in the post console. You will be able to choose which types to include.
- Move to a folder: You can move the selected files to another folder or create a new one and add them there.
- Delete: When you delete media assets, they will only be removed from the Click Social Media Library, not from existing messages and posts.
- Resizing: We do not resize or transform images or videos. If they appear differently in the previews, it's because we change the display proportions in the browser. We send the files as they are.
- Image Editing: The Click Social Media Library supports the following image editing functions:
- Crop
- Blur
- Sharpen
- Enhance
- Grayscale
- Rotate
- Mirror
- Flip
Using any of these functions will save only the edited image, not the original.
Maximum File Size for the Media Library
- PDFs: Up to 100MB
- Videos: Up to 4GB
- Images: Up to 4GB
- Animated GIFs: Up to 4GB
Maximum file sizes are related to the Click Social Media Library specifically. Social Media networks may have different file types and size limits according to their own requirements.

Image Alt Text
You can add or edit alt text for images you upload to Click Social directly from the Media Library by double-clicking on a thumbnail or directly in the post console after adding an image (for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook only).
With alt texts, you can make your social content more accessible by helping screen-reading tools to describe images to people with low or limited vision. It also allows search engines to better crawl and rank your social pages.
