In order to send a template to one person very quickly, set up a Quick Send Template and then use the Quick Send feature from the Opportunity, Contact, or Lead records. This would be useful if you send the same email on an individual basis often. For example, if a salesperson routinely makes calls and then sends a follow-up email, they can set up a template for this using the Quick Send feature.
NOTE: If you’re using ClickDimensions version 8.2.0 or newer, you also have the ability to send Quick Send emails to Opportunities. Click here to learn how to update your version of the ClickDimensions Solution.
NOTE: If you're using ClickDimensions version 8.1.0 or newer, you will need the Quick Send privilege in one of our Security Roles (automatically given to ClickDimensions User and ClickDimensions Service)

Set up an Email Template as a Quick Send Template
First, you will set up the Template as a Quick Send Template. Go to Email Templates by navigating to Messaging > Templates.
Create a new template or open one you already have created. In the Quick Send Settings section of the Email Template, change Quick Send Template to Yes. This will allow you to use this template as a Quick Send template going forward.
Set the rest of the options as you would like them. You are filling out all of the fields that would normally be set on the Email Send.
The Category field allows you to select some predefined options to help identify and better understand your email statistics.
In the Campaign field, you can associate a Dynamics campaign record. If you associate a Dynamics Campaign record, you will be able to see all the Sent Email records created from this Quick Send in the Dynamics Campaign record.
The From Record Owner field determines who is listed as the From Name and Email Address. Click to toggle the values from Yes to No. If you select Yes, the From Name and Email Address will come from the owner of the Lead or Contact record that is listed as a recipient. The From Name and From Email address will change dynamically depending upon who the recipient is and which Dynamics user owns the recipient’s record.
A From Name is required in order to send an Email Send record. It can be the company’s name, a personal name, etc... There are no limits in specifying the From Name.
Any valid email address is allowed in the From Email field. The From Email field will receive any replies or auto-response emails to the email blast.
NOTE:These fields are still required if you choose Yes in the From Record Owner section. This is to ensure that there is always a from name and email–just in case a record does not have an owner.
The Transactional field denotes whether this email is a transactional email or not. Transactional means it is a non-marketing email that sends regardless of preferences; for more information see here. Non-transactional emails require a Subscription List to be specified and an opt-out method provided within the email content.
The Subscription List field is used to specify the Subscription List that this particular email will be related to. Subscription Lists help manage opt-ins and opt-outs, so selecting the appropriate Subscription List will ensure that only your recipients who opted-in to this subscription list will receive the message.
NOTE:The Transactional and Subscription List fields will only be present if you are utilizing the ClickDimensions Opt-In Subscription Management style instead of the default Opt-Out style.
Where to See a List of Quick Send-Enabled Templates

This window will open when you click on this:
NOTE:If you do not see the Preheader field, you will need to update ClickDimensions to get that feature.

For example, if your security role only lets you see Email Templates that you own, you would not see any Quick Send templates that are owned by other users listed here.
Make any changes you want, if any, and then press Send. The email will go out and create an Email Send, Sent Email, and Email Events just like any other email.

Sending a Quick Send Email to an Opportunity
NOTE: available only for Dynamics 2013+ with ClickDimensions version 8.2.0 or newer. Click here to learn how to update your ClickDimensions Solution version.
Quick Send Emails can be used with Opportunity records. From the More Commands (ellipses) menu, select ClickDimensions Quick Send. You will be able to go through the same steps listed above to send a Quick Send email to the Contact associated with the Opportunity if there is one available.
If only the Contact lookup field is populated, the Quick Send will be sent to the Contact listed.
If only the Account lookup field is populated, the Quick Send will be sent to the email address on the Account.
If both the Contact lookup field and Account lookup field are populated, the Quick Send email will be sent to the Contact only.
ClickDimensions will automatically connect the Opportunity record to the Email Send using Dynamics's Connections. This allows you to use FreeMarker to pull values from fields on the Opportunity record with this format: ${Recipient.opportunity.fieldname[0]!""}
Limitation: if there is a lookup field on the Opportunity, you can get the value of the lookup field, but not into the entity itself and get any values from there.
