Navigate to Social BI
When you are ready to navigate to Social BI, navigate to either Messaging > Social Platform or to Messaging > Social and then select Social Platform from the options.
This will open a new login window. Enter the email and password that was setup for your Account Owner in the Social Marketing Settings and click Sign In to continue to the Social Platform.
This will bring you to the Social Platform's main page.
Click the 'Social BI' icon in the navigation bar on the left, it will take you to the Social BI module.
Once you're in Social BI, you will see your default dashboard.
You can choose from the pre-defined dashboards or add a new dashboard either from the Reports Gallery or create it from scratch.
Reports Gallery
It provides Social BI users with a library of pre-built reports grouped by various use cases. These pre-defined dashboards and reports set you up for self-service. You can save time by delivering instant insights that are already available. They will also serve as templates for custom analysis, you can duplicate and edit any of them to meet your exact reporting needs.
- Engagement dashboard

- Ads Performance dashboard
- Customer Care dashboard
The Ads Performance dashboard shows 0 values until internal tests are completed. For the time being, it shows 0 values and ‘data messages’ on purpose. Once it will pull data and show values, it’ll be in included in the release notes at a future time.
Custom Reports
Customers that are familiar with metrics or just want to track their own specific results, they have the option to create a custom report.
Common use cases of custom dashboards:
- Stakeholder specific dashboards such as CMO dashboard with a high-level overview.
- Compare Advocacy engagement and the engagement generated by the corporate profiles
- Create a Master Template dashboard that can serve to duplicate the template and apply the required filters, such only include certain profiles
- LinkedIn Audience dashboard to monitor LinkedIn audience growth and demographics to engage and expand your social audience of this social platform

In Social BI, you can create reports based on several sources of data. Each source has unique fields that you can use for both grouping and filtering, as well as common fields that you can use only for grouping. You can find all the information in the Report Filters and Dimensions help article.
Availability
Social BI is available for accounts with Social Professional and Social Premier licenses. The Social BI module replaces the former Analytics module and released as part of the 2024.05 release.
