This release contains many updates to help you be compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming out in the European Union on May 25th. Read more about how ClickDimensions can help you be GDPR compliant here.

Checkbox and radio button type fields on forms can now create a subscription preference. And a new value of "Unsubscribed/No Opt-In" was added to the Reason field; this option is chosen for any unsubscribe or non opted in recipient if on the new opt-in subscription method. There is an entity called Send ClickDimensions Email which is used to send an email via a workflow. This entity was updated to include the Transactional (Yes/No) and Subscription List lookup fields. These fields will show up for everyone on 9.2 but will not be required; this is because there is no way to conditionally make fields show up or be required on a workflow. For this reason, they are not required so when the email goes to send we will check to make sure it is setup correctly and if not, will not send the email out so that you can still abide by GDPR and we'll send a notification email that it did not go out properly. Method of Submission was added to hold information about how the preference was set. Posted Form was added to connect the preference to a posted form in the case that is where it came from. Plugin Changes

Plugin Changes
A new plugin was added called SendEmailWFPlugin which is fired when sending a ClickDimensions email through a Dynamics Process Workflow using the create Send ClickDimensions Email step. This ensures that if you are using the opt-in subscription management method, you get an email notification if the fields on the step are not filled out correctly so you can update it for the future.
